Growing up, there were two things I loved; movies and photography. I attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated with a degree in Radio, Television and Film. I worked my way through school at a local camera store selling cameras and working in the lab. After graduation, I worked for a few years on film, tv, and commercial productions as a camera assistant, camera operator and cinematographer. I loved it! The hours were terrible, but I loved it. When my kids came along, it was time for me to shift gears and photography was an easy sidestep that has allowed me to balance a career I love and time with family. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and continue to nurture my technical and artistic abilities through continued education. In 2011, I was awarded the prestigious acheivement of Certified Professional Photographer (CPP).
As a photographer, I employ a variety of photographic styles. As a portrait artist, I strive to provide you with stunning portraits that you will cherish forever. As a documentarian, I employ a journalist’s eye to capture organically, as the event unfolds, without intrusion. As a storyteller, I ensure that your photographic coverage will be comprehensive and cohesive. As a Fine Artist, I give special images additional treatment in Photoshop and the results can be a breathtaking enhancement to your wall or your album. It's more than a moment, it's you!
